Procedures for Access to Information not Routinely Published

The Judiciary Administration has designated the following officer as its Access to Information Officer, who is responsible for ensuring that requests for information under the Code are properly dealt with in accordance with the specified procedures. The officer's contact means are set out below:

Requests for information or records may be made by letter or by using the application form which can be downloaded here and sent to the above officer.

A charge reflecting the cost of producing the records requested may be levied. The current rate of black and white photocopying is $1.5 per sheet or at such rate as shall be promulgated by the Director of Accounting Services.

Note: The “Code on Access to Information” does not apply to information held by courts, tribunals or inquiries. Requests for access to court records should be made in writing to the relevant court concerned directly in accordance with the relevant Ordinance.
